An artist and photographer, I began, as a child, to make hand-made cards for my family, to my mother’s delight. Then I started to make them for my friends, then my co-workers, then for anyone who would accept them – which led to forming this company, Tumble Dry Low cards. Many people ask, “where’d you get that crazy name for the cards?!” To put it simply, when I began to think about this as a business, I was doing laundry in the basement. For some reason, while sorting, it just sounded “right”!

I live in Flint, Michigan with my husband Doug, who is also an artist. He taught art at a local college and was an exhibiting artist for years. His creativity has turned to cooking, (see the recipe cards in the FOOD category!), and I’m the one who now spends hours in the studio. Completing our family are two parrots and a Cardigan Welsh Corgi.
I am presently the staff artist for East Village Magazine in Flint, collaborating with poet, columnist and good friend Jan Worth-Nelson.

I hope you enjoy yourself while scrolling through these examples of my line of cards. Please don’t hesitate to write or call if you have any questions!

Many thanks to Dan Gerics (www.dangerics.com) who designed this site, and to Ken Van Wagoner of The Good Beans Café in Flint (my cards are always available there, as well as a good cup of coffee!) Where would I be without them? Scary thought.
